We ALL Judge Books by their Cover

Yes, you do. Why else would companies spend so much time and money on their packaging? Obviously the logo is important, but a jazzy logo is no longer enough to capture our attention is it?

Just take a look at products like Eos lip balm, with it's cute ball shape or Kleenex boxes with wild prints, tie-dyed duct tape, and retro styled labels. Packaging is important. It's the first thing the consumer notices. What may be hard for some companies to understand is that sometimes the information on a package may be less important than the design. Some feel the need to put every single selling point on the label. Just know that while consumers are browsing the racks, if your package design does not jump out at them they won't even get a chance to read it.
